Frequently Asked Questions
Curious about Cellular Beauty, Orthomolecular Facial Analysis, or what happens after your analysis?
Here are answers to the questions clients ask most often.
What is Orthomolecular Facial Analysis?
Orthomolecular Facial Analysis is a non-invasive assessment that looks at specific patterns and visible signs in the face.
At Cellular Beauty, these patterns are used as part of an individualized assessment to explore potential nutritional deficiencies and imbalances and determine what areas may need nutritional support.
It is not a medical diagnosis or a replacement for medical testing.
What can my face tell you?
Your face can show visible patterns involving areas such as skin texture, pigmentation, redness, lines, wrinkles, elasticity and specific areas of the face.
During your analysis, these patterns are assessed together rather than looking at one skin concern in isolation.
Facial changes can have many possible causes, so the analysis does not assume that every visible change is caused by a nutritional deficiency.
How does the Cellular Beauty process work?
The process is simple and completely virtual.
You submit six specific photos of your face. Your facial patterns are then analyzed and you receive a personalized report outlining the findings from your assessment.
Based on your individual analysis, a personalized protocol can then be created using targeted nutrients and customized liquid formulas.
What photos do I need?
You will be asked to submit six clear photographs:
- Front of face with eyes open
- Front of face with eyes closed
- Left profile with hair pulled back
- Right profile with hair pulled back
- Face forward with tongue out
- Neck tilted upward (look toward sky)
Clear, natural photos are important because the analysis depends on being able to see specific facial patterns.
Can I do the analysis virtually?
Yes.
Cellular Beauty is fully virtual, which means your facial analysis can be completed remotely using the required photographs.
Do I need bloodwork?
No. Bloodwork is not required to complete an Orthomolecular Facial Analysis.
Facial analysis does not replace bloodwork, medical testing or assessment by a regulated healthcare professional when these are medically indicated.
What happens after my analysis?
After your photographs are analyzed, you receive your personalized findings and protocol.
If customized formulas are part of your protocol, they are selected according to the findings of your individual analysis.
Your progress is then reassessed after approximately three months.
What are the customized formulas?
Protocols may include customized liquid formulas containing targeted minerals and other nutritional components selected according to your individual assessment.
Because every analysis is different, formulas are individualized rather than using the same protocol for every client.
How do I take my formulas?
Take drops under tongue 15 minutes before or after food or drink, hold under tongue for 60 seconds, and swallow. Use a mirror for accurate dosing.
Your individual report will tell you how many drops to take and how often to take each formula.
Can I drink alcohol while taking my formulas?
Alcohol should be avoided while taking the formulas, as alcohol may interfere with the absorption of the formulas and reduce their intended effectiveness.
How long is the Cellular Beauty protocol?
Protocols are completed in approximately three-month blocks.
At the end of the three-month period, your face can be reassessed to see how the facial indicators have changed. Your protocol can then be updated according to the findings of your new analysis.
When will I notice changes?
Every person is different but typically at 4-6 weeks.
Some clients may notice changes during their three-month protocol, while others may require more time. The three-month reassessment provides an opportunity to objectively compare your facial indicators and determine what has changed.
How much does Cellular Beauty cost?
The Orthomolecular Facial Analysis is $250 CAD.
Customized formulas are additional. A three-month supply generally ranges from $160–$300 CAD, depending on the individualized formulas and protocol.
Is Cellular Beauty covered by insurance?
The Facial Analysis may be covered by some Canadian extended health insurance plans under Naturopathic Doctor benefits.
Coverage varies by insurance provider and individual policy. Clients should confirm their specific coverage directly with their insurance provider before booking.
Is Cellular Beauty skincare?
No.
Cellular Beauty is not a topical skincare treatment.
Rather than focusing only on what is happening on the surface of the skin, Orthomolecular Facial Analysis takes an internal nutritional approach by examining facial patterns as part of an individualized wellness assessment.
You can continue to have your own skincare routine while completing your Cellular Beauty protocol.
Is this only for wrinkles and aging?
No.
People seek Cellular Beauty for many different reasons. The analysis looks at the facial patterns present in the individual rather than focusing exclusively on wrinkles or cosmetic aging.
Is Cellular Beauty a replacement for my doctor?
No.
Cellular Beauty and Orthomolecular Facial Analysis are educational and wellness services. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent a medical condition and should not replace appropriate medical care, testing or treatment.
If you have a new, persistent or concerning symptom, it should be discussed with an appropriate healthcare professional.
